Brand identity and website design created for Aardvark Communications & Security, a new B2B company in a market where the brand must stand out as approachable, yet professional. Aardvark Communications & Security formed in 2016 with no prior presence in its local security and communications industry. The client had determined the company name and url prior to approaching Clayman & Associates. I started with identifying colors and symbols that indicate trust, protection and reliability. The typography I selected creates a strong, stalwart presence and provides a clear base for the playful logo. Following the corporate brand standards, I finalized the logo, designed vehicle graphics and print advertisements to promote the fledgling brand.
Aardvark Communications & Security also needed a website that would encompass the scope of products and services the newly formed company offers. Creating a website for Aardvark’s target market was challenging. IT professionals may be searching for communications offerings, while a small business owner may be looking for a security system. Speaking to industry and non-industry folks in the same site is no easy task. We performed market and SEO research, compiled credible sources and wrote copy to prepare. I then established a design for the site, compiled and created visual elements and created a site that remains a visual interpretation of what Aardvark does. This site along with Aarvark’s branding was designed while working for Clayman & Associates in Marietta, Ohio.
